Ian Freeman, Founder & Principal

After graduating from Wesleyan University with an interdisciplinary major of government, history, economics and philosophy, Ian Freeman was a banker and investment banker before embarking on his insurance career in 1987.

Starting with a $5,000 loan from his uncle, heavy debt and major anxiety, Ian launched his insurance career. Since then he has enriched more than 2,500 lives by writing over $900 million in death benefits for individuals, families and businesses.

Ian Freeman ranks in the top 100 in career production. He is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a two-time and current Top of the Table honoree, and has consistently qualified for Court of the Table. Ian also has qualified for the National Quality Award and National Sales Achievement.

He holds Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) designations and is working toward an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation.

Ian Freeman serves on the Board of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Representatives Association and is a member of the National Association of Independent Financial Advisors. He regularly gives presentations throughout the U.S. to help people understand the basics of insurance.

Ian Freeman serves on the Boards of the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven and the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven (JCC) and is a Past President of the JCC. He also is on the Board of Directors for The Acting Company of New York City. In addition, Ian is a supporter of Alzheimer's Association efforts in the Hartford area and several other local charities. In his spare time, Ian appreciates golfing, reading, playing the guitar, listening to music and spending time at the gym.

A licensed agent since 1993, Pam is recognized as one of the best in the country in her field. Her passion and dedication are the shining examples of our team's philosophy and mission.

In addition to overseeing the entire firm's operations, Pam Teach also handles in force marketing and speaking engagements.

Kristen Grant, Operations Manager

Kristen Grant joined the team in 2002. She has recently been promoted to Operations Manager. She keeps new business and the daily operation of the business moving in a smooth pattern.

She also is in charge of coordinating technology for the office.

Carol Heller, Policy Service Coordinator (Director of First Impressions)

She joined our office in 2006. After working in the industry with another Financial Representative for over 5 years, she decided that she wanted to increase her hours and then became available to work with us. Her background in client service has been valuable to the firm in her role as policy owner service liaison for our existing clients.

She is the backbone of organization in our office.
